Whale Shark
Whale sharks are the largest fish on the planet, they can grow up to 14 metres and can weigh up to 12 tons. If they survive giving birth to around 100 pups whale sharks can live up to 100 - 150 years.
Whale Sharks swim around in the ocean with their mouths open to find food like plankton and small fish. They have over 3,000 teeth but they don't use them unless they have to bite something to make it fit in their mouths.
Whale sharks aren't actually related to whales and they aren't dangerous at all. They are a part of a family called Rhincodontidae, which is a subfamily belonging to Elasmobranchii in the class Chondrichthyes.
