Octopus' have eight legs. The largest type of octopus is the Giant Pacific Octopus. Octopus' only usually live for 6 - 18 months.

Octopus' can squeeze into tight spaces to try and hide. They can also make a quick getaway by shooting out a cloud of ink which will block the view of predators. The blue-ringed octopus has blue rings on its tentacles that can sting you. ​

 

The Mimic octopus can mimic the behaviour of other animals so they don't get attacked. Some octopus' can also change colour and shape to camouflage into their surroundings. ​
