Aardvarks are also known as ant bears. They use their long nose to smell where food is. Aardvarks can live up to 23 years. 

 

Aardvarks dig a shelter to use for a few days. They usually only use them for around 3 days. After they leave they can be used by at least 17 other mammal species. 

 

Aardvarks find their food by scraping the surface of the earth with their claws and exposing any and or termite nest. Its long tongue is covered in sticky saliva will get the food form the nests.
