Otter
Otters are small, semiaquatic mammals. There are 13 different species of otters in the world. Otters can live for up to 16 years. Otters live in dens called holts or couches. A group of otters are called a bevy, family, lodge, or romp, or when in water the group is called a raft.
Otters are semiaquatic, which means they spend half their life in the water and the other half, they spend in the water. They usually build their holts right next to the water so it is easy to get to after catching fish to eat.
