Falcons are one of the fastest birds in the world. The peregrine falcon is the fastest bird in the world, reaching speeds of 240 mph. Falcons can grow up to 65 cm.

 

They catch their prey by swooping up in the air and when they find a flock of birds they manoeuvre their way through the air to make their prey look still and then they go down to a bird and grabs it with clenched feet either stunning it or killing it with the impact.
