Llamas look a lot like alpacas, and lots of people get the two confused. Llamas are about twice the size of alpacas.  Llamas can grow up to 6 ft tall. Llamas can live for as long as 20 years. Llamas weigh 129 - 204 kg. 

 

Llamas are often used to carry stuff around. they can carry about 1/4 of their weight. ​Llamas are very intelligent animals and know their limits, so if you gave it too much stuff to carry it would either lie down or refuse to move.

Llamas are scared of coyote's, wolfs and other dog like animals and if they see one the will react in a certain way that will let others know they are there, so farmers often use llamas to guard their sheep.
