Lemurs are a madagascan mammal.A lemurs tail is longer than its body. Lemurs can live for 20 - 25 years and can weigh as little as 0.0283495 kg. A group . of lemurs is called a troop, a troop can have 7 - 10 lemurs in it.

Most lemurs spend most of their time in trees (This is called arboreal) but the ring-tailed lemur spends most of it time on the ground. Some lemurs are also nocturnal, which means they sleep through the day. 

 

Sadly, lemurs are becoming endangered. They are becoming endangered Because of deforestation, causing loss of habitat, hunting, which is now against the law and some people take lemurs from the wild to make them pets.
